Sydney is a behaviour support practitioner who brings a calming, empathetic, and positive approach to her work with children and adolescents. Sydney is particularly passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges related to schizophrenia, ASD, anxiety, and addiction and approaches all her sessions with respect and honesty.
Employing a variety of techniques in her practice, her creative approach to behaviour support sees her use techniques such as psychoeducation, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Sydney has built on her experience as a Child and Family Practitioner for Life Without Barriers, where she provided crucial support to foster children. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), which underpins her comprehensive understanding and approach to care.
